IDENTITY: Abraham Söldner probably was a son of Löb Söltner and his wife Jette née Hirsch. He was born in 1809, a year in which Rees-Rosina, the wife of Samson Wolf, was too old to have another baby. It is speculative but plausible that Abraham after the (early?) death of his parents was raised by his probable uncle Samson Wolf Söltner. In contrary the records of his marriage and his death offer us adventurous suggestions for descent. They seem to be more a mix-up than the truth. He wasn't the same person like Abraham Söltner, widower of Hanna May and husband of Rosina Brand.
Hints for the assumption that Löb Söltner and Jette Hirsch were his parents: see daughter Jette and son Hirsch. The same indications are seen in some children's names of his brother Löb. With his four children and their first names Abraham applied a parity distribution of the first names of his closest relatives: Samson Wolf and Rosina, Jette and Hirsch.
NICKNAME: He was called Frommele. This could be a tender paraphrase for "little Abraham", "young Avram". And really he was younger than Abraham, husband of Rosina Brand, who due to the records proven was the son of Samson Wolf Söltner and his wife Rosina.
